Kimberly Blackwell, receptionist/secretary, receives Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship - May 22, 2002

Kimberly Blackwell, our receptionist/secretary, received the New Jersey Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Award for her academic and extra curricular accomplishments on May 22, 2002 at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, N.J.

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission created the award to recognize 10 college students in New Jersey who show an interest in human rights, social justice and world peace, as well as understanding the life of Dr. King.

Blackwell graduated summa cum laude in December 2000 from Hudson County Community College. She is attending New Jersey City University with an anticipated graduation in December 2003.

Legal secretary, Marie Fisher, was present to cheer Kimberly on at the award luncheon.
